Buying a property requires making many important financial decisions, understanding complex issues and completing a lot of paperwork. It helps to have an expert in your corner when undertaking such a large purchase. Here are some factors to consider when choosing your real estate professional:

• Look for a full-time agent – I am a full-time agent with experience completely a transaction from start to finish.
• Interview a few agents, Are they familiar with the area in which you are interested? – I am familiar with the area of interest, from Northwest Indiana to the western suburbs of Chicago.
• Ask how much time the agent will have for you, and if they are available at night and on weekends. – I am always available no matter the hour.
• Ask about their credentials and education: I annually complete multiple hours of continued education for my licenses in both Indiana and Illinois.
• Does the agent return your calls promptly? – I pride myself on answering all my calls, or providing minimal delay in returning phone calls.
• Ask for a list of properties they have sold or a list of references.
